Hi - really great site you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to issue a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed playing with information processing systems and am attempting to learn computer code in my spare time (which there is never enough of lol).

I think that depends on your dog and their ability to tolerate the smell - as well as any potential skin irritation. Personally, I don't use the essence of oil because it can be toxic. I much prefer to plant the actual plants in the yard. It takes a lot of plants but you don't have to worry about toxicity.

Hi Donna,

Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, that "squirrel proof" bird feeder has certainly brought out some creative acrobatics from squirrels. Sometimes I think they are just thrill seekers.

As far as the Grosbeak goes, they will travel far south for the winter - even down to Central and South America. Hopefully we will catch a few in this year's migration.

I have this very same bird feeder and it is about 90% squirrel proof. I clicked on to this link because I wanted to see the bird. I live in Port Orange, FL (just south of Daytona Beach) Any chance of this bird showing up this far south? I had painted and indigo buntings to show up in March last year, but were in my backyard for only a week.

Hi Scott - thanks for sharing. I didn't know that.

Geez. Now it really makes me wonder why they even bothered writing a note saying the meter was covered with landscape.

Police cars are now equipped with cameras so that disputes in judgment can be less subjective. I say it's time to install the "meter reader camera" so we can see what the heck is going on while our meters remain unread and we are charged out the nose for services not rendered.

I have news for you. That black circular thing indicates that your meter has can transmit the reading and doesn't have to be opened. That makes this account even more sad.

I just got a $600 water bill and have never had one over $200.

More payback to Dunwoody residents, I guess.
